Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
Without the transforming and empowering support from the Australian Government via the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) under the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) we could not provide the services and initiative we current deliver internationally.
The Foundation has been part of the ANCP since 2008 and this guiding support has aided our organisation and programs evolve with a development underpinning, that ensures we pursue sustainable and culturally appropriate models of delivery.
We are grateful for the financial support and the development frameworks and mechanisms the ANCP provides. We wish to acknowledge the enormous contribution the Foundation receives from DFAT to aid our international programs in the many countries and contexts in which we work.
Optometry Giving Sight
Our program outcomes and achievements would not be possible without the dedicated support of our long-term funding partner Optometry Giving Sight. Currently Optometry Giving Sight provides funding for our international programs that support child eye health, workforce and optometry development and creating access to eye care services.
Optometry Giving Sight focuses its efforts on fundraising within the optometric industry to assist in supporting the global reduction of avoidable blindness and uncorrected vision impairment. We acknowledge Optometry Giving Sight’s commitment to working with corporate businesses to develop strong, successful and sustainable partnerships. The Foundation believes it is fortunate to have the mutually aligned relationship with Optometry Giving Sight. This financial supportive relationship allows collaboration work to benefit disadvantaged communities with the gift of sight through the implementation of our international programs.
